A.R.Burla Mahila Varishtha Mahavidyalaya, a branch of PADMASHALI SHIKSHAN SANSTHA, SOLAPUR, floated with an intention to cater educational facilities to the Poor Girl Students of Eastern Part of Solapur city. These students hail from the BIDI worker and labour class community. These labour class community never intend to educate their girl child. We are, through many means and medias, provoking them to educate their girl children. Since last around 25 years our Teaching and Non-teaching staff are taking enormous efforts to extend best possible Academic and Non-Academic knowledge to our students to shape their future, which proved a successful venture and hence now our College is viewed as one the best college for these Poor Girl Students. There are around 1000 girl students being educated through our College. Our Teaching Staff always endeavor to extract the hidden skills and talents of these poor students, who never know their strength. Many of our students could make their life with a successful career in various fields. Before considering the donation, we request you to get the knowledge of the valuable efforts of our College and then only think of extending your helping hand. We have commenced constructing the College Building and is, gradually, progressing. The total estimated cost of construction is around Rs.2.80 crores. Out of which we could be able to amass a total funds to the tune of around Rs.1 crore. For the balance amount we appeal you to extend your helping hand for the noble cause of spreading education to the poor Bidi and Labour Class community. You can donate for a particular part of our College Building, such as Library, Class Rooms, Sports Rooms, Function Hall, Canteen, Computer Room, Office Room etc. That part will ever be remembered by giving the name of your choice by carving the same on the front of such part of building.
